::: The **NEW** Bush Agenda :::

Wondering what moral values are being served in D.C. today for the November Surprise ... the unleashing of the Omnibus Bill ... another bill being pushed through Congress without being read and without debate.

I guess the morality voters know what is in it. Don't they? I am sure the zillions of Bush supporters, the same ones who were worried sick about Gay Marriage and Roe vs Wade, have read the entire bill and are keeping tabs on their fearless leader.

I guess the champions of moral values voted for Bush to give more tax cuts to people who do not need them, provide more tax incentives for corporations who move jobs overseas, give "guest worker status" to millions of illegal aliens, vote for and not fund help for the Sudan (oh, but that help is probably in this very bill today), to NOT raise the minimum wage to help the American middle class (soon to be homeless) support their families, provide health care for all those who have lost it under Bush, and it just goes on and on and on.

One of the most disheartening aspects of the Bush Agenda and the agenda of the millions of Christians who voted for the Bush form of morality is the rape of the $400 Billion Defense Budget for the inclusion of $Millions in Pork to the detriment of the services (food, equipment, housing and basic needs) for our troops. And this includes the money earmarked for the armor for the grunts putting their lives on the line in Iraq. Two women I work with have just sent family members to Iraq, one sending her son, the other send both her husband and her son ... they had to spend $1,400.00 per guardsman for the personal body armor.

If this represents the values of the Christian Right, I am extremely happy not to be infected with this particular viral morality.

First, after claiming a mandate over an extremely close vote, the Boastful Bush stated he intended to "spend his capital." What a horse's fanny!

The House is in a Saturday Session to pass the Omnibus Bill (def: what ever excess they can hide and get away with = totaling near $400 Billion.

This morning, Dems railed against the new rules, against DeLay, against not being given time to even READ the bill and stated they were sure the bill had not been read by the other side as well.

But then, the fools said they would vote for it.

Personally, after watching the election, the black box controversy and the convenient results in states and counties using the black boxes with no paper trails ... I feel the Dems KNEW long ago what was coming down the pike, did nothing and just allowed it to unfold and they and the American people get exactly what they deserve.

What they deserve: More tax cuts for folks who do not need them, Medicare Sham Bill written by the Pharm Comps and Ins Comps, prospective war with Iran ... rats ... oh yeah. The drumbeat has begun already!

Well wishes to the Moral Majority and Happy Holidays ... some in Iraq and possibly Iran.

Too furious to continue. Am gonna go pet a cat or two.

First .... sorry to be gone so long
... too many reasons to enumerate
... will accept laziness if readers prefer the quick fix!

Just a quickie note on Granny's reaction on the election fraud controversy.

Ok, so it is probably true, but ... everyone knew the machines were easy
to hack, full of flaws and gave no paper trail.

Stop whining Dems ... you should have mobilized two years ago. If Dems are
such Woosies they have allowed another stolen election ... well, you get
the President you deserve!

On to the disaster of Bush II:
(Thanks to Bubba, I don't have to google it myself)

The Great Leap From Frying Pan to Fire:

Alberto Gonzales as U.S. Attorney General.

Excerpt >> From Bubba's >>
Excerpt of Gonzales' take on how far U.S.
can go without violating Section 2304A >>

[..]
"We conclude below that Section 2340A proscribes acts inflicting, and that are specifically intended to inflict, severe pain or suffering, whether mental or physical. Those acts must be of an extreme nature to rise to the level of torture within the meaning of Section 2340A of the Convention. We further conclude that certain acts may be cruel, inhuman, or degrading but still not produce pain and suffering of the requisite intensity to fall within Section 2340A's proscription against torture."

More later ...
Cat petting fest coming right up ....
